What we do
Aegis Materials Corporation designs, tests, and manufactures advanced material systems for environments where ordinary materials fail. Our flagship program, AEGIS-SKIN Mk.I, is a layered protective skin engineered for extreme thermal load, abrasion, ballistic impact, and long-duration fatigue. Around it we run a full engineering stack: computational materials modelling, coupon-level and full-assembly destructive testing, qualification strategy against aerospace and defense standards, and manufacturing scale-up from prototype cells to production lines. This site is our working technical showcase — it publishes performance benchmarks, comparative material data, deployment case studies, whitepapers, and a glossary so that engineers and investors can evaluate our claims against real numbers rather than marketing language.
Who it is for
We built this for the people who have to be convinced by evidence: program engineers specifying materials for airframes, ground platforms, and critical infrastructure; primes and integrators evaluating qualified suppliers; strategic investors underwriting a hard-technology company; and prospective employees deciding whether the work is serious. Visitors can review open technical literature, request controlled documentation through our authorized-access portal, book a discovery call with our engineering team, or apply to open roles in materials science, manufacturing, and program management.
Who builds it
Aegis Materials Corporation is a materials engineering and defense manufacturing company. Our team combines materials scientists, mechanical and manufacturing engineers, and program leads with backgrounds in regulated production environments. We operate under ITAR-aware handling practices and NADCAP-oriented process discipline, which is why some documentation on this site is gated rather than public. Everything published openly here is prepared and reviewed in-house by the same engineers who run the tests.
